This is a tutorial for Goldeneye 007. For an outline of the strategies used in this tutorial, see the main level page.
Walkthrough
This tutorial applies to 00 Agent as well.
Skip the first cinema and watch the second cinema. Right strafe through the vents and open the stall door as you are falling. Left strafe to the first door, changing to right strafe before opening the next door. Right strafe down the stairs, eventually running straight to the door underneath the stairs shooting 7 PP7 shots (to get console door open) and reloading (which will occur automatically) all in this time. Shoot at the guard with the keycard at least 3 times. Turn to the right in full speed (or left if you are able to do this and not get stuck on the box) and change into a left strafe before heading to the console.
Switch to the KF7. Left strafe into the console room, shooting guards there if necessary, and change to a right strafe just after activating it while turning right to get out of the room. This is hard because you'll get boosted around a lot or get stuck. Restart if this happens.
Right strafe your way to the next door, using the watch laser to warp it with a right strafe. Some people also use a left strafe and change to right at the next turn, or even a left strafe and no change keeping in left strafe down the next hall. In any event, switch to mines. Since there is a good chance you will get backboosted here, throw a mine on the door, and as you go through, press A+B to get a boost. Continute down the hall, open the next door and change to KF7 soon after you open the door up ahead to warp it. Be ready to shoot as soon as you begin going through the next door. Empty your entire clip (10) shots as you turn left and then right to head for the labs.
The door up ahead should be opening. Restart if it isn't. Change back to the PP7, shooting it until you kill/get by the guard there. Right strafe up the stairs, and change strafe to make each of the next 2 turns with a mine in hand. You should be in a left strafe once in the lab area. Boost yourself before the labs by throwing a mine on the right wall just after the turn before you can first see them. Now, take a right once you are past the first glass door. Doak should be here and should be talking. Restart if he isn't here since the best ever done when he is not here is 0:59 (?).
Now, head for the decoder door. Upon going by the 2 guards facing the other way before the decoder door, pause just after turning to the right. You may or may not get a boost while doing this. If you didn't turn enough, you'll get 2 boosts and will have to backtrack to get to the door. Get out the decoder, and use it.
!! NEW STRAT VARIATION !!
In order to get a good trev, which will help the following strat has been developed which will increase the likelihood of you getting the good Trev.
When you pause, select the PP7, and then the detonator. Use the detonator, and press A a few times switching to the PP7, KF7, mines, and then to the detonator. Look towards the right side of the door all this time. Switch to the left side as the door is opening and you are changing to the detonator thus warping it.
Change your strafe for each turn on the stairs, using a right strafe to get to Trev. He will either be facing away from you next to the big tanks (bad Trev) or be standing away from the tanks (good Trev). You should have 3 mines left. This takes a little practice. The following diagram is how I place the 3 mines.

NOTE!!! If you got a good Trev, read the strategy written for the Agent difficulty, and do the mines like that. Otherwise, do the mines as described in this strat:
Now, the far right "X" is showing that you want to throw the mine on tank 5, but it should be directly between tanks 4 and 0. This is so that Trev won't die when you blow up the mines. The middle "X" shows that the mine should be placed on tank 3, but be between tanks 3 and 8. The left "X" mine should be placed on tank 1, but be between tanks 2 and 6. If you can't quite get tihs to work, just use 1 mine for boosting (not the one just before the labs) and then 4 for the tanks, throwing another mine on tank 2. I also used a strat with 4 mines (did this on my 57 actually) where I placed a mine more on the right side of tank 3 and the 4th on tank 6 since that was the most troublesome tank. Once you got the mines placed. Face towards Trev just on the right side of the doors you exit, which you should have open. Once his message comes up, blow up the mines, take a left side step for the first second, and then back up for the next second. This should time Trev's completion nicely and get you a sweet PR.
