Goldeneye 007 Tutorial: Runway Agent 21 - The Berg Juggle
This is a tutorial for Goldeneye 007. For an outline of the strategies used in this tutorial, see the main level page.
Overview
The Berg juggle
Instead of juggling 3 nades, waiting for the boosts and then juggling 2-3 more, like you do for 22, you want to throw nades continuously. Even in between the boosts.
Vertical angles and turning for throws
Just like the classic juggle, you have to look straight up for the first nade, a tiny bit down for the 2nd and a tiny bit more down for the 3rd. Since this means the nades will land slightly in front of you (to the left of your line to the plane), you want to turn a tiny bit right just before you throw each nade and then turn back on the optimal line. You have to do this with all nades except the first one. After you've done the lookdown for the 3rd nade, you want to keep that same horizontal angle for the rest of the juggle.
Spacing out the boosts
A very important thing you have to learn to be able to perform the juggle is to space out the boosts equally, as far apart as possible and priming the nades for the same amount of time. The key to this is the first three nades. Spacing out the primings of those nades equally before getting the first boost will ensure that there's an equal amount of time between each boost, which means you have an equal amount of time to prime the nades you throw between the boosts.
Prime the first nade quickly
The priming of the first nade determines how early you're able to get the last boost. Since you can barely fit all the boosts before entering the plane, you have to prime the first one pretty quickly after the hut boost. It's hard to explain exactly when to prime, so look at how early the first nade explodes on the 0:21 runs and try to copy that.
