dataDyne Central: Defection is the first level in Perfect Dark. All three world record strategies on this level make use of the world-famous Defection glitch.

Special Agent

The player must attach an ECM Mine onto the computer screen in the room below the starting point.
  • Obtain keycode necklace
The player must punch Cassandra to receive her necklace.
  • Disable external comms hub
The player must attach an ECM Mine onto the computer screen in a room adjacent to the ending trigger.

Perfect Agent

  • Download project files
The player must trigger the Programmer NPC to walk to a certain computer on the floor above his starting location. After the Programmer begins to say "Okay, I'm in", use the Data Uplink to download the files.
